LinkedIn groups allow professionals in the same industry or interests to share content, find answers, view jobs, make contacts, and establish expertise. To join, search keywords to find relevant groups and select groups to join. Within groups, search members by connection degree or filter searches. Interact by posting articles, commenting on others' posts, and asking questions to contribute and network with members.

- 4. LinkedIn Groups • A place for professionals in the same industry or with similar interests to: – Share content – Find answers – Post and view jobs – Make business contacts – Establish themselves as industry experts
- 5. How to Join a LinkedIn Group • Hover over “Groups” in the top navigation bar and select “Groups Directory” • Use keywords to describe the type of group you’re looking for – Search for groups related to the program you’re enrolled in or graduated from – i.e. Medical Assisting

- 8. Searching a Group After joining a group use the search functionality to see who’s in the group and how they’re connected to you.
