Steve Talbott is originally from Wichita Kansas and attended the University of Kansas and obtained degrees in History and Political Science. While Steve was at KU, he played varsity tennis and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. While in school Steve interned 2 years in the Kansas State House of Representatives. Post graduation, Steve worked in Washington D.C. for US Senator Bob Dole.
In 1992 Steve joined Enterprise as a management trainee in the Kansas City area. Steve spent the next 13 years working in various operational roles. In 2005, Steve became responsible for Talent Acquisition in the Kansas City Group. In 2006 Steve took an opportunity to oversee Talent Acquisition and Talent Development for multiple regions in North Carolina, while based in Raleigh. In 2009, Steve took on the responsibility of Management of Talent Acquisition in the company's original operational group -- St. Louis. Today, Steve oversees managing the applicant to hire process for over 14,000 candidates yearly.
Steve is a United Way Leadership Member. He was an active member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters for a decade. He also has served on Advisory Boards for Career Services at the University of Kansas, Webster University and the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Steve currently resides in Clayton, MO and has been married for 17 years. He has a daughter that is 10 as well as two boys that are 8.
