2010 - 2011 

  1. How it Works: Bryant & Stratton College Online will provide one (1) full tuition scholarship for an Associate’s degree in accordance with the College’s Scholarship guidelines, to each of the five winning scholarship recipients. Each recipient may choose one other qualified individual or organization to also receive a full tuition scholarship. Bryant & Stratton College Online reserves the right to approve any transfer of the second scholarship to an individual or organization.  All recipients must meet the entrance requirements of Bryant & Stratton College Online, must be able to enroll by the end of 2011 and must be at least 18 years of age in order to receive the award.  Scholarship recipients will be responsible for all college fees and the cost of textbooks/materials. Substitution of the scholarship is prohibited. The combination of grant and scholarship awards may not exceed the cost of tuition.  Scholarship awards have no material or monetary value and therefore no cash or refunds will be issued.  The scholarship may not be sold or traded to any other person or entity.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulation.
  2. Eligibility Requirements: The Pay it Forward Scholarship program is open to any new students seeking enrollment at Bryant & Stratton College Online. Existing students or former students are not eligible for this scholarship program.  Scholarship winners must enroll at Bryant & Stratton College Online by the end of 2011 and must stay continuously enrolled through graduation unless otherwise approved by the Campus Director. Scholarship applications must be complete and accurate to the best of the applicant’s knowledge and belief.  False information on an application will be cause for immediate withdrawal from scholarship eligibility or immediate termination of scholarship funding.  
  3. Termination: Should the scholarship recipients’ enrollment at Bryant & Stratton College Online terminate prior to the recipient’s graduation from their intended degree program for any reason, any unused portion of the scholarship shall be forfeited.  The winner must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher or the scholarship shall be forfeited.
  4. Scholarship Recipients: The scholarship recipients must meet all eligibility requirements and may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Prize Acceptance Form within 30 days of notification.  If a recipient fails to attend Bryant & Stratton College Online by the end of 2011, the scholarship award and all its benefits will be forfeited.  All scholarship recipients are required to apply for federal grants. Grant awards received by scholarship recipients will be applied to the cost of tuition before scholarship awards.
  5. No Purchase Necessary:  There is a obligation, expressed or implied, on the applicant’s part to purchase any products or services, other than the enrollment requirements explained in paragraph 2 above, in order to enter or win the scholarship.
  6. How to Apply:  The submission deadline has passed. Completed applications had to be received by midnight on December 31, 2010 for consideration. Bryant & Stratton College would like to thank everyone who entered the Pay It Forward Scholarship over the last few months. The scholarship winners will be announced on or before May 11, 2011.

Miscellaneous Provisions: Limit one entry per person.  Bryant & Stratton College Online is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries.  Bryant & Stratton College Online reserves the right to photograph and/or make recording of the recipients and to use said reproductions of the recipient’s physical likeness and/or recordings in College advertising, marketing or promotional material including but not limited to:  websites, TV commercials, print advertisements and publicity information without additional compensation.   Prize acceptance by a recipient constitutes permission by the recipient to use recipient’s name and likeness with no further payment in connection with publicity efforts regarding Bryant & Stratton College Online’s Pay it Forward scholarship program.  Recipient need not be present at time of announcement to win.  Tax liability, if any, is the sole responsibility of the scholarship recipient.  Employees of Bryant & Stratton College, or their immediate families, are not eligible to apply or be awarded the scholarship.  This award is not based on need.  Bryant & Stratton College Online will choose the finalists for this scholarship program and the winners will be determined by a public online vote.  Odds of winning will depend on the number of qualified entries received during the entire application period.  For the complete list of Pay It Forward Scholarship recipients or to arrange an interview with a recipient, please contact Lindsey Mikal at or 303-433-7020 after May 11, 2011.
